I'm going to toot my own horn because I think I made some ass-tastic tops this week. Ruffles, long cuffs, bows, sequins, and beads. Oh yes, and I made a new pattern with a hood/cowl and pockets.

Curious Findings

I did some very fun vintage shopping when I went back to Nebraska, I was delighted to find a new store open in my home town. It's called Curiosities and I found these goodies:

Lace Victorian style blouse with buttons along the cuffs (fancy) Beaded earrings and boots from Value Village, Belt from the Fremont Antique Mall, Black straight skirt from the Pretty Parlor.

This is a dress! Black and white polka dot tie with buttons at the top, and black thick cotton at the bottom. Pillbox hat, gloves, and platform tennis shoes found at Value Village. Red belt found at Aprie and the tights are from Target.

Black Gothic/Victorian dress! Feather hair piece by Violette Magpie from the Pretty Parlor, Gold rose belt from Ciaro, Zombie Girl cameo earrings from etsy, and sexy white boots from the Pretty Parlor.

I love to dress up!

Sequins Are a Girl's Best Friend

Well, more like that acquaintance who gets you drunk and takes you dancing when you're having a bad week. Hey, they can't all be the best.

Seen below is a gray knit dolmen top with gold sequins which just arrived at the Pretty Parlor, along with my new favorite pair of stretchy pants. Also at the Parlor and the Blush boutique in Cleveland, a reconstructed white and black pinstripe top with black sequins and the fantastic gold rose belt (all mine!), that I got at a newish vintage store on the hill called Cairo

and bring yourself closer to eternity. I love knits, because they drape and conform to you, they compromise with your body.
