Stop, your making me BLUSH!

New goods just left Seattle yesterday, and are landing in Cleveland Ohio, at the wonderful Blush Boutique, check it out!
Tan and brown hounds tooth v neck with pink floral feathers.
Black and red stripe octopus tunic (the octopus is classy, made out of black and cream hounds tooth) Jackie O-ctopus Ha ha!
I'm in love with this raglan tunic, big pink and gray flowers, with some stripe sparrows and some back stripe surprise action. This top is so soft and comfy, the fabric has a wonderful drape
Skulls and lace, one of my favorite combination's.
This fabric is Amazing! Black and white print with the profile of a girl with a pony tail and red lipstick.
I really like to wear the raglan tunics with capri shorts and flats, it makes me feel like Audry Hepburn, and you can't go wrong feeling like that.
I love to add lace accents to my simple knit pieces, I decided to add them to the back this summer I like the sexy yet modest feel of this style.
Bang Bang! Red, Black, and Rock n Roll!

This is the last of the mermaid fabric, I really do love the sea creature on sea creature action.
I hope you love em Cleavland!

Fruits and Labor

Fun and comfortable V neck tunics, tunics with pockets and hoodie cowl necks, and one fabulous raglan top with a bow, oh yeah, and some bling! All just landed at the Pretty Parlor!
here's a little glimps into the mess that comes before the garment: the first picture is a bit of my application process, (yes I cut out all 8 legs with my own little fingers) Then a little fabric madness! I cut and sew and apply in levels. My own little sweat shop. Me against the fabric.

Be careful where you point that love gun......
Pretty floral print in the colors of the wilderness, with a lace yoke, cap sleeves, and a little peek a boo in back.
Let me see your peacock.
Fun geometric print with peek a boo front yoke, lace cap sleeves, and pretty rose button.
I love me some floral prints with simple black and white stripes.
A bee in your flower garden!
Lace in the back, sexy stylish gray knit raglan tunic. Just enough to cover the rump.
Peacock v neck dress, with cap sleeves, I think this dress would look wonderful on my friend Zana!

Summer bubbles! Almost as fun as blowing them.
Kitschy t shirts turned into hoodies with pockets, say so much with out  uttering a word.
My new V neck summer tunic, who says sexy style can't be comfortable and simple. Not me!
I revamped my reconstructed blouse, no more empire waste, just classic darts for a stream line look in fun summer plaids.

and of course my favorite cut, the raglan tunic in gray and black polka dots with pretty lace on top.

Arrivals and Departures

All of these lovely gems are out in the world and ready to be yours.
psychedelic knit dress with scientific accents
Navy, beige and full of vines. She's pretty enough for a wedding and comfy enough for the park

This dress is begging to be warn to one of the many music festivals our lovely city has to offer, it's funky and sweet.
The black, gray, and white printed fabric is oh so classic, add some red, it's classic and bold. Make the red accents some pretty feathers, your baroque prairie.
70's, sassy , and simple. The black floral fabric is vintage and I mixed with a modern colorful print with vintage flair.
This top wants you to take it to Paris, eat croissants, drink wine, and stare longingly at the Eiffel Tower.
All these gems are at Velouria http://shopvelouria.tripod.com/

The one and only Spring 2011

A love of fashion spawns a love of seasons. I'm looking forward to wearing tunics and dresses and frolicking in the daisies, well, actually I'll be strolling the streets of Seattle with an iced mocha in hand soaking in some much needed Vitamin D. So, with the new upcoming season comes change, a few new patterns to try out (knit dresses this year) and a few revamps to last years dresses.
sweetheart bubble dress with added straps and faux buttons.
black stretch velvet tunic with pockets and Carmen Miranda sleeves (taken of a Mu Mu)
simple raglan tunic I revamp and make non stop, this one has a vintage lace bib and fun stripe sleeves
this was Daniels T shirt. I added some new sleeves and a few flowers to accent the camo (I look like a galactic zombie fighter)
the first of 2 new knit dress patterns I'm working on, I'm a fan of anything pretty and stretchy.

PS the galactic background is a sheet that's going to be a dress soon too.
