Neglected Blog.....
Poor blog, so neglected, but my sewing machine is getting lots of attention!
New goods went out to Blush in Cleveland, Reconstructed Clothing in Downtown Seattle, and the one and only Pretty Parlor on Capital Hill this month. I've been very busy making new patterns this month with lots of new sizes!
Paisley wrap dress with hand stitched lace flowers accented with lots of pretty sequins. Comfy enough to wear anywhere and shinny enough to make an impression.
Soft and pretty sheer lace black tunic, if you look closely you'll notice pretty pearl like beads artfully stitched all over this classy piece.
Simple and fun, tunic with accent fabric and flirty sleeves.
One of my new favorites to make, Dolmen tunic with accent fabric. Oh so easy to wear in black and white.
Colorful stripes! with more lace flowers and lots of sequins. This little number already sold to a fantastic Pretty Parlor costumer.
I just made this pattern last week, fun little dress with accent fabric and pleated skirt. In an easy to wear comfy knit. On sale now at the Pretty Parlor.
One of my new favorite things to do is make quilt together all the little pieces of fabric I can't use, hence this very unique dress was born. On sale now at the Pretty Parlor.
Super soft polka dot dolmen. On sale now at the Pretty Parlor.
Vibrant purple stripe dolmen, this fabric reminds me a little of Missoni. On sale now at the Pretty Parlor.
I love this tunic! Soft beautiful white lace. On sale now at the Pretty Parlor.
Black and white polka dots with tan lace accent, it's classy and sexy! On sale now at the Pretty Parlor.
Brand spanking new pattern! Hoodie tunic dress, I'm excited to see it on a person, hint hint...Jasmine....
Almost too cute, little birdie v-neck dress, and wait what's on the back?
that's right lace and pretty pearl bead buttons.
and, one more dolmen for good measure, in soft gray jersey and tan lace, this reminds me of a garden party, right before sunset.

Clever Title
I've been thinking about what I want to make for fall, and now I'm acting on it, I turned the V neck tunics into more of a dress with wide ribbing at the bottom. I made this pattern off of one of my favorite closet staples.
Kissing Guns
Crossing Guns
Dancing Bunnies
V neck in Pieces
Color! V neck dress with butterflies.
V neck in Pieces top.
Floral V neck with pockets.
Chandlerious V neck with pockets.
All these goods (and more) are available at the Pretty Parlor! Along with lots of fabulous boots and western goodies that Anna Banana Picked up this week, definitely a good time to come down and check it out.

Fruits and Labor
Fun and comfortable V neck tunics, tunics with pockets and hoodie cowl necks, and one fabulous raglan top with a bow, oh yeah, and some bling! All just landed at the Pretty Parlor!
here's a little glimps into the mess that comes before the garment: the first picture is a bit of my application process, (yes I cut out all 8 legs with my own little fingers) Then a little fabric madness! I cut and sew and apply in levels. My own little sweat shop. Me against the fabric.

Curious Findings
I did some very fun vintage shopping when I went back to Nebraska, I was delighted to find a new store open in my home town. It's called Curiosities and I found these goodies:
Lace Victorian style blouse with buttons along the cuffs (fancy) Beaded earrings and boots from Value Village, Belt from the Fremont Antique Mall, Black straight skirt from the Pretty Parlor.
This is a dress! Black and white polka dot tie with buttons at the top, and black thick cotton at the bottom. Pillbox hat, gloves, and platform tennis shoes found at Value Village. Red belt found at Aprie and the tights are from Target.
Black Gothic/Victorian dress! Feather hair piece by Violette Magpie from the Pretty Parlor, Gold rose belt from Ciaro, Zombie Girl cameo earrings from etsy, and sexy white boots from the Pretty Parlor.
I love to dress up!
